In April took place both EGU2023 and RSCy2023. Always, participating at these conferences we can stay update with the latest and most interesting new research topics. The presentations of our young researchers were held either on site, in Vienna and Ayia Napa, either online.
PhD students of the UBFF team presented at EGU2023 their latest results, addressing either internationally recognized topics but less represented in research for Romania (like optical characteristics of clouds over various polluted areas), or very new research topics, such as the study of the relationships between air pollution and socio-economic indicators, the study on bioaerosol temporal pattern or the study on the magnetic properties of material particles in the atmosphere.
Presentation of the PhD student Alin Scarlat, young researcher at INCAS, on methane over a large area Bucharest-Ploiesti using satellite and airborne data was followed with high interest by the scientific community at RSCy Conference, 3-5 April in Ayia Napa, Cyprus.
