The INCAS and UBFF teams will participate this year at the Fair of Science, Education and Jobs “Cu mic, cu mare… prin Univers” organized by The Faculty of Physics of the University of Bucharest, in collaboration with the National Research Institutes on the Măgurele Platform, Association of Physics Students of the University of Bucharest (ASF-UB) and Science Education Community (CEST).
AIR POLLUTION AND ITS EFFECTS ON THE ENVIRONMENT- MEASUREMENTS AND MODELING is the topic we were invited to address by an interactive talk and a workshop. During the workshop, interesting experiments will be carried out; measurements of various pollutant concentrations, small-scale creation of clouds and fog are among these. The trajectories of air masses will be modeled and pollutant dispersion will be also studied; in addition, using satellite images, it will be possible to visualize wildfires.
All interactive applications are based on models currently used in international scientific research!!!! A team of young doctoral and master’s students, coordinated by experienced professors, is waiting for you to initiate you in the field on 24th of November in Bucharest-Magurele!
